On Tuesday, 31st October, La Inmaculada school celebrated the terrifying Halloween.

We, the students from 4^th year of ESO, helped the teachers in some activities that they prepared for school children. In total there were four workshops: face painting, games, cooking and the horror passage. They had a lot of fun but they were a little scared too.

We took part in two activities: the horror passage and cooking.

Thanks for trusting us. It was a pleasure to participate.

Poemween

POEMWEEN

Short and rhyme poems manage to attract the attention of children. This  time is used to teach them rhyming to memorize and understand, why not, a set of values.

Poetry has multiple benefits: children are attracted to it for its musicality and rhythm, nemory exercises, new vocabulary is acquired, it improves oral expression, sensitivity work, imagination...

So,  this year  to celebrate the holiday of Halloween, all students from the first year of ESO  designed an activity which they called POEMWEEN that manages to attract the attention of students creating short, rhyming poems in English with vocabulary of  Halloween. Then, they performed their poems.

Yesterday we celebrated “Halloween” at our school. My pupils from 4^th year of ESO took part in two activities: the horror tunnel and the cooking workshop.

Today I want to express how grateful I am to them for their involvement:

Hey there!! Happy Halloween to everybody!!!!!!!
Today in our school we have been taking part in different workshops: cooking, face painting, games and the horror passage. It has been really funny and terrifying!!!! Have a look to some of the pictures!!

CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN

During this week we have been doing different activities about Halloween. The students of Secondary Education have written some POEMWEENS. They are terrifying and cool!!! Have a look and enjoy them!!!

Durante esta semana en el cole hemos estado haciendo actividades relacionadas con Halloween. Los alumnos de Educación Secundaria han escrito POEMWEENS. ¡¡Son terroríficos y super chulos!! ¡¡Echad un vistazo y disfrutadlos!!
